July 6-8 2003, Saint-Petersburg From July 6-8, 2003, the VII International Congress "Science, Information, Spirit" was held in St. Petersburg with joint sessions of the International Society of Mental Training and Excellence and the International Union of Medical and Applied Bioelectrography. The Congress was attended by more than 150 delegates from 20 countries: Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Canada, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Portugal, Republic of South Africa State, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA. Based on the results of the scientific sessions, the participants learned the following: Within recent years, the GDV bioelectrography method developed under the guidance of Prof. K. G. Korotkov in St. Petersburg has spread widely in Russia, the USA, the European and Asiatic countries, and also in South Africa. With the use of newly developed methods and instruments, rigorous scientific research works are being carried out at the universities, medical and scientific organizations of Russia,s the USA, Slovenia and England. Six doctorate thesis were defended in Russia and three in the USA. More than 20 papers on GDV bioelectrography were published in peer reviewed medical and physical journals in Russia and the USA. The GDV bioelectrography methods are included in educational programs (lectures and laboratory practice) in a number of high schools in Russia and the USA. The published results using GDV bioelectrography give valuable and in a number of cases unique information for medicine, psychophysiology, sport, water research, blood, biological liquids, pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations. In order to actively introduce GDV bioelectrography into international medical, sport and research practice it is necessary to establish methodological standards for calibration and validation of bioelectrography instruments produced in various countries. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly distinguish scientific bioelectrography methods based on strict experimental data and concepts of the contemporary psychophysiology and biophysics from data obtained using commercial devices which explore oriental concepts of the human Aura. Scientific bioelectrography deals with research based on fundamental physical and biological grounds based on the principle of stimulated optoelectronic emission of various natural objects using advanced methods of computer image processing and extraction of information based on artificial intelligence methods. The participants of the Congress call on state, scientific and sport organizations with a request for wide-range support and the introduction of new scientific and practical uses for GDV bioelectrography to be developed in Russia on the basis of the scientific traditions established by Ya. Nordkevich-Yodko in Minsk and the Kirlians in Krasnodar. Furthermore GDV electrography has acquired wide international acknowledgement due to the research of Prof. K. G. Korotkov's department of St. Petersburg State Technical University "ITMO". Respectfully, Participants of the Congress, representatives of the following countries:
