He has been a Pioneer in Kirliangraphy research since 1968. In 1981, through Kirlian Photos he was able to perform a diagnosis of the organic and physical health of human beings, and thus obtained many valuable results from research in that area. Nowadays, in all Kirliangraphy research groups he is considered the "Father of Kirliangraphy in Brazil" and his work has had a direct influence on all Kirliangraphic researchers throughout Latin America, including researchers of some European countries. Indeed he is considered the founder of the "Brazilian Kirliangraphy School".

The Creator of "The Official Brazilian Standard of Kirliangraphy", which was officialized and which received his name in the "1º Simpósio Brasileiro de Kirliangrafia" held in Curitiba (PR) 1986.

During the period from 1988 to 1989 along with Dr. Waldely Carvallho da Costa, Ph.D., Professor of PUC University - Rio, he made Kirliangraphic studies in the area of Afro-Brazilian religions, whose results were published, in Portuguese, in the book authored by him, named "A Mente - Uma Energia Cósmica (Mind a Cosmic Energy)".

In February, 1990, he presided over the "2º Congresso Internacional de Parapsicologia", in Lisbon, Portugal, sponsored by the "Instituto Médico Naturista".

In April/ 1996, he presided over the "1º Encontro dos Buscadores de Curitiba".

Since 1976, he has been invited to several national as well as international Conferences, In Brazil and other countries.

In 1990, He was awarded the "Honor Diploma" from "International Holistic Forum " for "Notable Services Rendered" in favor of "Health and Welfare of Mankind"

He was awarded the "Diploma of Scientific Merit" from the "Federación Mundial de Parapsicología y Ciencias Afines (World Federation of Parapsychology and Related Sciences)", in 1990 by Portugal Sector, in Lisbon.
 He administered classes of Kirliangraphy to the Parapsychology courses of University extension, sponsored by "Faculdades Reunidas Hélio Alonso" (Brazil), to the "University Extension courses of Parapsychology I and II", in the "Instituto Médico Naturista", Lisbon, Portugal, in 1991, as "Guest Professor", to accomplish a Cultural Interchange Brazil-Portugal Accord, established between the two countries and through Bi-National University Institutions.
