GDV-GRAM AND BIOELECTRIC ACTIVITY OF BRAIN AND HEART

Various methods of biopotential registration have been widely applied in medicine. They include conventional methods such as ECG, EEG, electromyography, studies of superslow biopotentials (omegametry), etc, as well as nonconventional ones, for example, Foll method, electropuncturography and others, based on eastern medical concepts.

The latter can also include Kirlian radiation registration. Physical basis of Kirlian effect is a widely spread in nature and well studied corona radiance phenomenon, which appears around the object placed in the high intensity field. Possible ways of the method application in medicine have not been practically studied yet. On the grounds of the method’s physical nature the basic factors influencing on the radiation character (hand fingers in particular) were selected. They are surveyed in the monography “From Kirlian effect to Bioelectrography“, edited by Dr. K.G.Korotkov. They are total body impedance, fingers’ electroconductivity, gas discharge special features, skin humidity and others. This work was aimed to compare different bioelectric characteristics of organism. 40 bronchial asthma patients were tested. The leading part of atopic mechanism of pathogenesis was noted with 0.53 degree of probability, in the cases with nonatopic mechanism nearly equal frequency of aspirine triad (0.20), steroid (0.12) and infection (0.15) dependence were noted. ECG and GDV-gram were registrated for all the patients. EEG was registrated for 25 patients, 18 of them were tested in dynamics. The 2nd EEG type (presence of alpha-rhythm) – was noted in 14 cases, the 3rd type (slow delta-waves) – in 11 cases. It was revealed the true difference of GDV-gram parameters for patients with different EEG types. For example, patients with the 2nd EEG type were noted bigger radiation area, higher noise level, form coefficient, and which gives evidence that their biological processes are more active in general. It is known. that the 3rd EEG type can be mostly met at the patients with severe course of bronchial asthma. Decrease of noise level and and form coefficient are mostly met in the same case.

Synchronity of EEG and GDV-gram changes can also be a reaction on medicamentous influence, but in this case EEG changes are more marked and certain. 18 atients were injected dexametason intravenously, and, according to encephalography data, the improvement 30 minutes after the injection was fixed in only one case. Others were noted depression of brain activity, in 2 cases the 2nd type transformed into the 3rd, i.e. alpha waves disappeared absolutely. By GDV-graphy data, true noise decrease (more than 10%) 1L was noted for 38% of patients, area decrease 1L – for 25%. The most marked negative dynamics after intravenous injection was revealed for the patients with the 2nd EEG type, for the patients with the 3rd type the dynamics was mostly varied and unreliable. It is known, that glyco-corticoids have mostly inhibiting effect on encephalogram parameters. It was also proved that the 3rd EEG type is rigid, i.e. it has weak reaction on different influences, for example on photostimulation. Hence, weak reaction of patients with EEG 3rd type on glyco-corticoids’ intravenous injection can be caused by large rigidity of their bioelectric processes in general.

Correlation of different bioelectric characteristics of the organism can be also proved by correlation analysis of some GDV-gram and ECG parameters. For example, there were revealed the relations between GDV radiation area and the width of RR interval (negative sign), between noise level and PQ width (positive sign). The received result (including more marked GDV reaction on glyco-corticoids’ intravenous injection for for patients with preserved alpha activity of cerebrum brain) proves the presence of general mechanisms of energetic homeokinesis regulation, the essential part in it can be played by vegetative nervous system.
